Welcome to USA Dance Bluegrass Chapter! USA Dance is a non-profit organization devoted to the enjoyment and improvement of ballroom dancing. The Bluegrass Chapter holds monthly dances from 7:30 until 11:00 p.m., usually at Central Baptist Church in Lexington, which includes a dance lesson from 7:30 to 8:15 p.m. The public is welcome at all of our dances. The Chapter offers introductory ballroom dance lessons twice a year. The last series of lessons started on February 12. The next series is tentatively scheduled to begin on Sept. 9th. Although membership in the national association is encouraged, it is not required to attend the dances. Yearly membership dues in the national association are $25 for the amateur dancer and $20 for college students (age 19-34). Attendance at the monthly dances ranges from about 60 to 80.
